Montra Thai Massage

After looking for a last minute massage due to a two day headache and desperate need to release some tension I stopped in to double check that the opening in their website was still available. The very nice man at the desk told me they could get me in within an hour. I was thrilled but did not have high expectations as I have been getting massages since childhood as I was as a gymnast and this was a new place at the last minute. Nothing fancy and in a small strip next to the CBD place that plays raggaeton a bit too loud, you may want to ask for a room on the right of the hall as to not hear the music (I didn’t mind). But the prices are spot on and when you need WORK and not overpriced *frills*… this is the place! I had an incredible 90-minute Thai massage with Vickie, and I can honestly say it was one of the best massages I’ve ever had. What impressed me most was that she spent virtually the entire 90 minutes working on me—less than two minutes total were spent away from the table. I asked for firm pressure, and she absolutely delivered. There were several moments of what I call “good pain,” but every technique had a purpose, and I could literally feel years of tension releasing. Vickie is incredibly knowledgeable and intuitive. She combined deep tissue work, Thai stretching, hot stones, and even walked on my back to provide the most thorough massage experience. She seemed to instinctively know exactly where my body needed attention, including areas I didn’t even realize were tight. As someone who’s undergone multiple bone marrow biopsies and has scar tissue and other chronic pain from medical treatments, I’m especially cautious about massages. Vickie was attentive the entire time, checked to make sure I was comfortable, and adjusted her techniques as needed while still giving me the firm pressure I requested. I never felt unsafe or uncomfortable. She worked every area that should be addressed during a professional massage (excluding the chest and abdomen), and I left feeling stretched, loosened up, and so much better than when I walked in. If you’re looking for a strong, therapeutic massage—not just a relaxing spa massage—I highly recommend booking with Vickie. She is exceptionally skilled, and I’ll definitely be back. I’m so grateful!

Great place. Clean. Professional. Although I am confident that any of their therapists would do a good job, my favorite is Amy. She is sweet, has a great sense of humor and gives a wonderful massage. She is strong and thorough. Every time I see her I leave feeling physically better, relaxed and happy. She really is amazing.

Amy is such an amazing massage therapist. She’s my go to if I need the perfect massage. If you’re able to catch Lynn, she gives the best deep tissue massages. Honestly, any therapist there will not be a disappointment, those are just my favorite.

Literally the best massage I have ever had hands down. I struggle w Inflammation and body aches. My therapist was able To do a deep deep tissue massage that loosened me up. She also stretched my body that gave me tremendous relief. The entire experience was great because very few can loosen my entire body up like she did. I will definitely go back.

I had a combination massage from Amy while in town for a celebration and it was incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating. I was truly able to recovery after the time my besties and I had in Houston.
