I am not the type of person to give bad reviews but I feel that this place was hyped up so much on tik tok and it was really not a good experience. We went on a Sunday afternoon and it was fairly empty. The first thing I noticed was a sign that say that they were out of the following items: pork broth, steak, tofu, and Bok choy. I thought that was odd because why not just make more broth its not that hard. And why are they out of so many key menu items on a quiet Sunday? The next issue was we were asked if we wanted a table or booth and when I point to the table we wanted to sit at, the hostess said “you can only sit here or here” pointing to two other options. Why bother to ask if we can’t sit in the requested area and there was only 4 other tables seated so what was the issue with us sitting where we asked to? My friend asked if we would be charged the price of the chicken broth (which was lower) since the pork broth was not available and we were told no so we paid for something that they didn’t have. I ordered an appetizer which we send back because it was cold ( the potstickers were not just room temp cold but barely defrosted cold) and the ramen that we ordered was cold and un flavorful, I had to ask for salt, soy sauce and the seaweed that was suppose to come with it. There wasn’t a manager onsite and we were told by the young guy with the Edgar cut that he couldn’t do anything because according to him my friend had eaten most of the protein which wasn’t true, her bowl was full and she ate on strip of beef 9 they only gave us two and the egg which was still there) he also said that they had bee having problems for the past few days and there was an issue with the people upstairs in the back? (not sure what that means. The strangest part was the water situation. They had a sign posted in the bathroom saying that the water is not potable. Do you know what that means? If not look it up. If all of the pipes are connected to the same water source then are you cooking with this water too? If you decide to go do it at your own risk
