Houston Breweries

You don’t have to be a member of Mensa to figure out what happens when you take ice-cold, hand crafted microbrews and add them to an amazing menu. And you don’t even have to have graduated fifth grade math to know what happens when you factor in the rabid sports-fan population of Texas and every brewery’s firm belief that beer and sports go hand in hand. Anyone who successfully put these all together shouldn’t need convincing when it comes to visiting a brewery in Houston. Anyone who failed at adding these up should not only be cut off from beer, but should also have to look into the camera and say the words: "I am not smarter than a fifth grader."

Two Rows Restaurant and Brewery

2400 University Blvd., Houston, Texas; Tel. 713.529.2739
With twenty TVs, Two Rows Restaurant and Brewery has a definite bent for sports, but their real passion is the excellent hand crafted microbrews that range in variety dependent on the season. Also, this Houston brewery and restaurant has a distinct focus on their food which could have been an after thought, but the owners have worked hard to make sure signature dishes are worthy of much higher priced establishments. Two Rows Restaurant and Brewery can get pretty packed, especially when there's a big game on, so get there early and if there's no seats left, you can always take their fine beer to go.
